There she fell in love with this wild, fizzy delicious drink & became a super fan. Struggling to find a product in the UK that matched the American brands in taste & quality, she decided to give up the 9 to 5 & start her own kombucha brand. One that celebrated the original idea - the idea of a wild, fermented health tonic, known & used for centuries for it's living cultured goodness.
Now she drinks kombucha everyday, helping her to feel energised for Saturday mornings at Primrose Hill Market & healthier than ever before. Kombucha is packed full of probiotics, lactic acids & vitamins. It is made by blending tea, sugar and S.C.O.B.Y (Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria & Yeast) together and then keeping it in a warm dark place until, after many days of patient waiting and tasting, the Kombucha is ready to drink. Sometimes you will see little ‘floaty bits’ in the bottle- this is strands of good yeast and is just evidence of a healthy, living product.
